Missionary Ministry Fall Meet and Greet Fellowship: The Missionary Ministry Fall Meet and Greet Fellowship will be held on Monday, September 13, 2010, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in the Church Fellowship Hall. Food will be available. All members who are interested in attending or are being led by the Lord to exercise their gift in Missionary work are invited to the fellowship. If you plan to attend, please sign-up on the sign-up sheet located at the Welcome Center.
Youth Department and Travel
High School Students: Scholarship checks are ready for pickup for all students who turned in an admittance letter. You may come to the Church Office during any weekday during regular business hours.
College Tour: The Education Assistance Ministry will take a Historically Black College and University Tour Oct 3 – 6. The schools we plan to visit are Philander Smith College, University of Arkansas Pine Bluff, Grambling University, Xavier University, Dillard University, Southern University, Jackson State University, Tougaloo College, and Stillman College. The cost is $275.00 per person for four people to a room, breakfast included. The tour is open to students 9th-12th grade. If you are interested, please sign up on the College Tour List at the Welcome Center red folder. Payments can be made to Sis. Phyllene Washington NLT Sunday, Sep 12, 2010. Births: Congratulations to Bro. Antonio and Sis. Dorris Grant who had a son born on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at the Women and Children Hospital (Huntsville Hospital). Dylan DeAndre weighed in at 6 lbs. 11 oz. and 19 inches long. May God continue to bless the Grant family.
