Union Chapel M.B.Church was established to serve the communities of North Alabama empowering them with the Word of God. The scripture says "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world" (Matt. 28:19-20). We are thankful to God for allowing us to share our ministry with you. We welcome you to learn about us and join us in fellowship each week. We are a body, growing together in unity as we not only study God's Word, but learn to live it every day. We thank God for using us and showing us that if we truly keep His Word, following his footsteps, we can truly become "A Chosen Generation". Union Chapel Institute of Biblical Studies – May 7, 2012: The Union Chapel Institute of Biblical Studies will offer courses for the summer, beginning Monday, May 7, 2012, and ending Thursday, July 26, 2012. Summer classes include: “Survey of the Life of Elijah” and “Survey of the Life of Moses”. These Bible courses will be offered to anyone interested. Applications are available at the Welcome Center. High School and College Graduates – May 20, 2012 All 2012 high school and college graduates who are members of Union Chapel M. B. Church should complete a Graduate Information Survey form which can be found at the Welcome Center today. All surveys must be returned no later than Sunday, May 20, 2012.
Volunteers Needed – 2012 Vacation Bible School (June 4-8): Volunteers are needed for our 2012 Vacation Bible School which will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012 through Friday, June 8, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. nightly. Assistance is needed in the following areas: Instructors, Assistant Instructors, Nursery Workers, Arts & Crafts, Food Service, Floaters, Wellness Staff and many more. Recreation Ministry – Each Thursday at 6:15 p.m.: Get Fit and Have Fun!!! Come join the latest ZUMBA craze held each Thursday at 6:15 p.m. in the Charles L. Ray Jr. Family Life Center. Classes will be instructed by Ms. Tomekia Fuzzell, a Certified Zumba Instructor.
